Switching on: Connect the mains cable. Adjust the thermostat dial to 'Mid' after 20 minutes. Wait 24 hours before adding food.
Temperature adjustment: The thermostat controls the internal temperature. 'Mid' to 'Cold' is recommended. Use a thermometer to check freezer temperature (-18°C or lower).
Freezing: Freeze food in small quantities. Cool cooked food first. Use appropriate containers. Exclude air and allow space for expansion. Label frozen foods with contents and date.
Defrosting frozen food: Defrost at room temperature. Drain liquids. Ensure no ice crystals remain. Cook immediately after defrosting. Do not refreeze.
Cleaning: Defrost when frost reaches 10mm. Use a plastic scraper. Clean interior with bicarbonate soda solution and exterior with a damp cloth. Vacuum the condenser grille.
