Take the camera out of the case. Insert slide 18 up to the stop. Having displaced button 13 in the arrow direction and turned magazine 12, remove the magazine from the camera. Only with slide 18 pushed right to the limit the lock of magazine 12 will open.
Load magazines with film in daylight. Remove slide 18, lift handle 17, turn it counterclockwise, withdraw transport mechanism 31. Tear off the paper label from the leader end. Shift plate 35 through 90°, place the spool with film in the socket, and reset the plate to the initial position.
Cock the shutter by turning knob 11. Fit loaded magazine 12 on the camera. Caution: Install magazines only with the shutter cocked and slide 18 pushed in. When installing a magazine with partially exposed film, ensure indicating colors in windows 39 and 15 are the same.
Cock the shutter, set exposure, focus the lens, and release the shutter by depressing button 20. After shooting, depress the viewfinder magnifying lens to its cap, fold in the screens, and close the cap. For exposure times over 1/30s, use a tripod. The shutter can also be released with a trigger cable.
After shooting twelve pictures, insert slide 18 and remove the magazine. Lift knob 14 and rotate it to rewind the film onto the take-up spool. Lift handle 17 and turn it counterclockwise to extract the transport mechanism.
Depress button 23, turn the lens off. Mount a new lens by matching red dots and turning clockwise until it snaps in. Caution: Lens removal and mounting should be done with the diaphragm aperture fully open and the shutter released.
Light filters screw into the front part of the lens mount. UV-1x filter weakens ultra-violet rays. YG-1.4x filter improves color rendition.
Protect the camera from dust, moisture, and impacts. Keep the camera clean, and do not remove the lens unnecessarily. Regularly clean the camera with a soft brush or rubber bulb. Store the camera in its case. If the camera is brought from cold to warm premises, allow it to gradually warm up in the case. Do not attempt self-repairs.
