- Camera Preparation: Remove camera from case. Cock the shutter by turning knob 12. Attach the loaded magazine by fitting it onto the camera catches and turning it until the lock operates. Ensure signal colors in windows 26 and 39 are similar.
- Shooting: Cock the shutter and transport film by turning knob 12. Set exposure time by pulling and turning knob 12 until the desired time aligns with index 11. Set the lens diaphragm by turning ring 6 to the desired aperture, aligning it with index 5. Open the finder hood by shifting button 19. Focus using the ground-glass surface or distance scale. Visually check depth of field using lever 9. Frame and focus, then release the shutter by pressing button 17.
- Exposure Determination (TTL): Set film sensitivity on the calculator using handle 42. Set lens speed using scale 45. Switch on the exposure meter with handle 47. Aim the camera so the object image is within the viewfinder field. Adjust calculator ring 49 until the correct light signal (green for sufficient light) appears. Choose an exposure-diaphragm pair and set it on the camera and lens scales.
