Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Solution
Kindle does not power on or is unresponsive Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to restart your device.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled. Check your network password. Restart your Kindle and the Wi-Fi router.
Screen is blank Press the power button to wake the device. If completely off, press and hold the power button for seven seconds to turn it on.
Battery not charging Ensure the USB cable is fully inserted. Try a different USB port or power source. Make sure the charge indicator light is on.
Wireless connection causes interference Turn off your wireless connection in areas where wireless use is forbidden or may cause interference.
