One year full warranty from date of purchase for parts and labor or hassle-free replacement.
Getting Started: Before first use, place the oven on a dry, flat surface at least 4" from walls and cabinets. Wash accessories and remove packaging. Upon first use, a light smoke is normal.
Using the Oven: Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. Ensure the oven is the only appliance on the circuit.
Adjusting Rack Position: Slide the rack out, align with desired grooves, and slide back in. Ensure clearance between food and top elements.
Setting a Cooking Mode: Rotate the Mode knob to select a mode. Adjust preset temperature/time using the control knob. Press the knob to switch between temperature and time. Select Convection or Frozen options if desired.
Preheating: Select a cooking mode, press START/CANCEL. A tone will sound when the desired temperature is reached. Place food in the oven and press START/CANCEL again to begin cooking. Preheat is not available for all modes.
| Problem | Possible Cause & Solution |
| Oven Malfunctions or Fails to Operate | Is the oven plugged into a grounded 3-prong outlet? Check if the circuit breaker is closed or fuse is working. Try unplugging and plugging back in. |
| Upper heating elements glow, but bottom elements do not. | This is normal; upper elements have higher power for browning. Lower elements are on but may not visibly glow. |
| Power on light is flashing rapidly. | The oven has a 2-hour auto shutoff. If constant on feature is used, it will shut off after 2 hours, causing the light to flash rapidly. |
| If the problem cannot be corrected: | See the "KitchenAid Warranty and Service" sections. Do not return to retailer. |
