Troubleshooting and error codes

If you experience Recommended Solutions
The Clean light is flashing Check: Is the overfill protection float able to move up and down freely? Press down to release. Be sure the water supply is turned on. Check for suds.
Dishes do not dry completely NOTE: Plastic and nonstick items are difficult to dry. Towel drying may be necessary. Use rinse aid with Heat Dry or ProDry™. Proper loading affects drying. Place items on slanted side of rack. Glasses with concave bottoms hold water; unload bottom rack first.
Spotting/Filming NOTES: Liquid rinse aid is necessary. Follow rinse aid instructions. Use correct detergent amount. Confirm cloudiness is removable by soaking in white vinegar. If it disappears, adjust detergent/rinse aid for hard water. If not, it's etching. Ensure incoming water temp is 120°F (49°C). Try Hi-Temp Wash or Sani Rinse.
Dishwasher does not clean completely Be sure dishwasher is loaded correctly. Check and clean filter. Select proper cycle for soils (ProWash™ or Tough). Ensure incoming water temp is at least 120°F (49°C). Use proper amount of fresh detergent. Scrape food; do not prerinse. Avoid using incorrect detergent types (laundry, hand soap) or excessive amounts. Ensure rinse aid dispenser cap is replaced.
