Using Your New Dishwasher

  1. Scrape food soil and hard items from dishes.
  2. Load dishwasher, ensuring spray arms can spin freely.
  3. Add detergent and check rinse aid dispenser.
  4. Close door firmly. Run hot water at sink until hot, then turn off.
  5. Select cycle and options, then press START.

Dishwasher Loading

  • Remove leftover food; rinsing is not necessary.
  • Load items so water spray reaches all surfaces and they don't overlap.
  • Load heavy items carefully.
  • Ensure lids, handles, etc., don't interfere with spray arms.
  • For quiet operation, secure lightweight items and prevent items from touching.

Detergent Dispenser

  • Dispenser has Pre-Wash and Main Wash sections.
  • Use automatic dishwashing detergent only.
  • Add detergent just before starting cycle.
  • Amount depends on water hardness and soil level.

Rinse Aid Dispenser

  • Rinse aid prevents spots and improves drying.
  • Fill dispenser as needed; lasts about 3 months.
  • Adjust setting for water conditions.

Dishwasher Efficiency Tips

  • Use hot water (120°F/49°C).
  • Do not pre-rinse dishes.
  • Use Normal cycle for less energy use.

Cycle Selection

Troubleshooting and error codes
