Ensure proper grounding. Follow diagrams for 3-wire or 4-wire connections depending on local codes and receptacle type. 3. **Exhaust Requirements**: Use a four-inch metal exhaust duct. Ensure proper length and connections to prevent fire hazards and maintain efficiency. Outdoor exhaust is recommended. 4. **Installation Steps**: Remove shipping tape, prepare the dryer by leveling legs, and connect the exhaust duct. Plug into the grounded electrical outlet. 5. **Moving the Dryer**: Shut off power, disconnect cord, tape drum and door, and screw in leveling legs. Use cardboard to protect floors. 6. **Troubleshooting**: If the dryer doesn't operate, check electrical supply, fuses, door closure, control settings, and if the start button was properly engaged.
