Starting Your Dryer

  1. Clean lint screen before each load.
  2. Place laundry into dryer and shut door.
  3. Rotate dial to select Automatic or Manual Cycle, then press CONTROL ON. Settings and time will display.
  4. For Automatic Cycle: Select DRYNESS LEVEL. Time displayed is estimated and adjusts automatically.
  5. For Manual Cycle: Select desired time and temperature.
  6. Press HOLD TO START button (approx. 1 second) to begin.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Dryer does not operate Possible Cause & Solution
Dryer does not operate
  • Check fuses or circuit breakers. Replace fuse or reset breaker. If problem persists, call electrician.
  • Ensure proper electrical supply (240V).
  • Check if dryer door is closed firmly.
  • Ensure Start button is pushed firmly for 2-5 seconds for important loads.
No heat
  • Check fuses or circuit breakers. Use time-delay fuse or circuit breaker.
  • Drum may turn but no heat. Electric dryers use 2 fuses or circuit breakers. Replace fuse or reset breaker. If problem persists, call electrician.
Unusual noises
  • Dryer not used for a while: May make jerky noises for the first few minutes.
  • Coin, button, or paper clip caught between drum and housing: Check edges of drum. Empty pockets before washing.
  • Leveling legs not installed correctly: Dryer may vibrate if not installed level. Refer to Installation Instructions.
  • Clothes are tangled or balled up: Separate load so it tumbles freely.
