Starting Your Dryer

  1. Ensure laundry is sorted and loaded properly, and the door is closed.
  2. Select AUTO or TIME DRY.
  3. Choose a CUSTOM DRY or TIME DRY SELECTION based on desired dryness or time.
  4. Select a CYCLE/TEMPERATURE that matches the load type.
  5. Press the START button.
  6. The dryer will begin tumbling. Indicator lights show the cycle's progress.
  7. For adjustments during operation, press the new selection. To stop, press OFF/CANCEL.

Drying Tips

  • For mixed loads, use the setting for the lightest fabrics.
  • Remove loads promptly to reduce wrinkling, especially for permanent press, knits, and synthetics.
  • Clean the lint screen before each load.

Care and Maintenance

  • Regularly clean the lint screen.
  • Periodically remove lint buildup from inside the dryer.
  • Wipe up spills immediately.
  • Remove sharp objects from clothing before drying.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
Dryer does not run Gas not turned on (for gas models) Turn on gas. Push OFF/CANCEL, wait 5 minutes, reset control.
Electric dryer requires two fuses or a circuit breaker. Check fuses/breaker. If one is blown, dryer may run but not heat.
Power supply cord not plugged in or circuit issue. Plug into live circuit with proper voltage.
Door not closed tightly. Close door tightly.
Dryer does not heat AIR TUMBLE Selection selected. Select a different cycle; AIR TUMBLE is without heat.
Last minutes of heating in all selections are without heat. This is normal; it's the cool-down period.
Drying times seem too long Lint screen is blocked. Clean the lint screen.

Dryer stops during a cycle and starts clicking Dryer pauses briefly between cycle portions. This is normal; the clicking is the dryer timer.
