Warranty Information

Offers a one-year full warranty, followed by limited warranties on specific parts for up to ten years.

Selecting a Cycle:

  1. Touch ON.
  2. Touch a CYCLE SELECTION that matches the load type (e.g., REGULAR/HEAVY, PERM'T PRESS, DELICATES).
  3. Touch a CUSTOM DRY selection for desired dryness level or select TIME for timed drying.
  4. Options like SMOOTH GUARD and CYCLE SENTRY can be selected as needed.

Manual Time Drying:

  1. Touch TIME UP or TIME DOWN to set desired time (1-99 minutes).
  2. The dryer will begin tumbling immediately.

Important Notes:

  • Clean lint screen before each load.
  • For first few loads, use NORMAL to determine dryness. Adjust MORE/VERY DRY or LESS for subsequent loads.
  • Use MOIST DRY if ironing clothes after drying.
  • AIR TUMBLE provides 20 minutes of drying without heat.

Troubleshooting and error codes

IF YOUR DRYER... POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTION
Does not run Power supply cord not plugged in. Plug into a live circuit with proper voltage.
Door not closed tightly. Close the door tightly.
Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Check home's main fuses or circuit breaker box.
ON not touched. Touch ON.
No CYCLE SELECTION made. Touch a CYCLE SELECTION. Dryer will not tumble until a selection is made.
Does not heat AIR TUMBLE selection used (does not use heat). Select a heated cycle.
Heat not used during last few minutes of cycle. This is normal.
Gas not turned on (for gas dryers). Touch OFF, turn on gas, wait 5 minutes, touch ON, reset controls.
Blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker (electric dryer). Electric dryers require two fuses or a circuit breaker. If one is blown, dryer may run but not heat.
Drying times seem too long Lint screen is dirty. Clean the lint screen.
Load is too large. Reduce load size.

TIME Display shows "E1" or "E2" Internal error. Call for service.
