5-year parts and labor limited warranty for materials/workmanship, lifetime for stainless steel exterior/drum.

  • Starting Your Dryer: Clean the lint screen, place laundry in the dryer, select an Automatic or Manual cycle, adjust settings (dryness, time, temperature, extra care, tone signal), and press Start. Automatic cycles adjust time based on dryness. Manual cycles require setting a specific drying time.
  • Stopping Your Dryer: Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice or open the door.
  • Pausing/Restarting: Open door or press PAUSE/CANCEL once to pause. Close door and press/hold START to restart within 5 minutes. Longer pauses require resetting the cycle.
  • Control Locked: Press and hold DRY RACK for 3 seconds to lock/unlock settings.
  • Status Display: Shows Wet, Damp, Cool Down, Cycle Complete, or Extra Care messages.

  • Household fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped?

  • Dryer door firmly closed?
  • Start button firmly pressed? (Hold for 1 sec for large loads)
Clothes are not drying satisfactorily, drying times are too long, or load is too hot
  • Lint screen clogged? (Clean before each load)
  • Exhaust vent or hood clogged with lint? (Check air movement)
  • Fabric softener sheets blocking grille? (Use only one, once)
  • Exhaust vent too long or has too many turns?
  • Exhaust vent diameter correct size? (Use 4" diameter)
No heat
  • Household fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped? (Drum may turn but no heat)
Unusual sounds
  • Dryer unused for a while? (Thumping in first few minutes)
  • Coin, button, or paper clip caught? (Check drum edges)
  • Four legs installed and dryer level? (Vibrates if not)
  • Clothing knotted or balled up? (Separate load)
Dryer displaying code message
  • "PF" (power failure): Cycle interrupted by power failure? Press/hold START to restart.
  • "E" Variable (E1, E2, E3) service codes: Call for service.
