INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here.

Tools and Parts

Parts Supplied: Brackets (2), #6 x 3/4" (1.9 cm) clamping screws (4), #8 x 3/8" (9.5 mm) sheet metal screws (6 screws for 24" [65 cm] models, and 7 screws for 30" [78.2 cm] and 36" [92.2 cm] models).

Parts Needed: A UL listed or CSA approved strain relief, UL listed wire connectors, A UL approved junction box or 240 V outlet.

Location Requirements: Make sure you have everything needed for correct installation. It is the responsibility of the installer to comply with the installation clearances specified in these instructions. IMPORTANT: Observe all governing codes and ordinances. When installing cooktop, use minimum dimensions given.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare Location: Decide on the final location for the cooktop. NOTE: Countertop must be 13/16" (3.0 cm) to 2" (5.1 cm) thick.

Install Brackets: Follow specific instructions for marble or wood countertops.

Install Cooktop: Use two or more people to move and install. Ensure clips align with brackets.

Make Electrical Connection: Follow detailed steps for 4-wire or 3-wire connections. Ensure proper grounding.

Complete Installation: Verify all parts are installed, tools are present, and packaging is disposed of. Clean the cooktop. Reconnect power.
