To check the operation of your microwave oven: 1. Fill a microwave-safe container with 1 cup (250 mL) of water and place it on the turntable. Close the door firmly. 2. Touch COOK. 3. Set power level, temperature, and cook time to "2:00" minutes. 4. Touch START. If the microwave does not operate, check your household fuse or circuit breaker, and ensure the electrical supply is connected. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section in the Use and Care Guide for further assistance. When the display shows "1:00" minute, open the door; cooking should stop. Close the door firmly; the interior light should turn off. Touch START to resume. The oven should begin cooking, and the interior light should be on. Let the cooking time complete. Tones will sound, and the oven will shut off. Open the door and carefully remove the container; the water should be hot. Refer to the Use and Care Guide for clock settings and other functions.
