| If you experience | Recommended Solutions |
|---|---|
| Microwave oven will not operate | Check household fuse or circuit breaker. Test magnetron by heating water. Check door closure. Ensure control is set properly and Control Lock is off. |
| Arcing in the microwave oven | Check for soil buildup on cavity walls, inlet cover, rack supports, and door frame area. |
| Turntable alternates rotation directions | This is normal and depends on motor rotation at the beginning of the cycle. |
| Display shows messages | "Enter clock" with flashing digits indicates a power failure; reset the clock. A letter followed by a number is an error code; call for assistance. |
| Odor and smoke coming from microwave oven during convection cooking | This is normal for the first few convection cycles. The odor will dissipate. |
| Fan running during cooktop usage | The cooling fan runs automatically to cool the oven. It may also cycle on/off to cool controls while the cooktop is in use. |
| Radio, TV, or cordless phone interference | Move receiver away, adjust antenna, clean door/sealing surfaces, or consider phone frequency. |
