Offers a one-year full warranty, a second through fifth-year full warranty on the liner, and a sixth through tenth-year limited warranty on the sealed system.
Initially set both Refrigerator and Freezer controls to a setting between 2 and 3. Allow several hours for the unit to cool before adding food. Adjust controls as needed, waiting 24 hours between adjustments for the temperature to stabilize.
For ice dispensers, ensure the ice bin is properly installed and the freezer door is closed. For water dispensers, flush the system with 3-4 quarts of water initially and weekly if not used regularly. Replace the water filter cartridge every 6-12 months or when off-tastes return.
Clean the interior and exterior surfaces monthly with mild detergent and warm water. Wax painted surfaces twice a year. Clean condenser coils when dusty or dirty.
If power is out for less than 24 hours, keep doors closed. For longer outages, consider a frozen food locker, dry ice, or using perishable food.
