How to use your LAVATHERM

Operating and Indicator Controls

  • Drying time selector: Controls on/off, drying time, and cold air setting. Turn clockwise for drying time.
  • Door release button: Press to open the loading door.
  • Start button: Press to begin the selected programme.
  • Button for temperature sensitive materials ('S' button): Press for lower heat drying.
  • Acoustic signal button: Press to be alerted when the programme ends.

Switching off the machine

Turn the drying time selector to "0".

"Empty the condensed-water container" indicator

When this indicator lights up, the container is full and needs emptying. The machine will not continue until the empty container is re-inserted.

Adding and removing clothes during drying

Press the door release button to add or remove laundry. Take care as the drum may be hot. Close the door and press the start button.

Cooling phase and anti-crease cycle

Before the programme ends, the laundry is cooled. An automatic 30-minute anti-crease cycle follows if laundry is not removed, keeping it loose and fluffy.

Cleaning the fluff filter

The fluff filter, located inside the loading door, must be cleaned after each drying programme.

Emptying the condensed-water container

Empty the container after each drying programme, unless it is plumbed for drainage.
