  • Setup Overview: Remove from box, connect to network and power. Access via web browser using setup URL, IP address, or model name. Device Setup guides configuration.
  • Component Identification: Front panel includes Power/Status and Drive Activity indicators. Rear panel has Security Lock, Power Button, USB Connector, Gigabit Ethernet, Reset Button, and Power Connector.
  • Default Settings: IP address assigned via DHCP or self-assigned APIPA. Default device name is LenovoEZ. Default Shares are created during setup.
  • Connection: Connect EZ Media to network using Ethernet cable. Plug into power source. Device powers on automatically.
  • Accessing the Device: Use setup URL (http://setup.lenovoemc.com), IP address, or model name (LenovoEZ) in a web browser. Follow Device Setup prompts.
  • Optional Software: Install LenovoEMC Storage Manager and Twonky Media Server for enhanced network management and media aggregation.
  • Safety Information: Follow all instructions, use provided power supply, unplug before cleaning, avoid water and unstable surfaces, ensure ventilation, and handle batteries properly.
