Basics
The home screen is your starting point. It comes pre-loaded with useful apps and widgets.
Customizing Home Screens
Press and hold anywhere on the home screen (except icons) to enter edit mode. From here you can add widgets, change wallpapers, move apps, create folders, remove widgets, and uninstall apps (system apps cannot be uninstalled).
Screen Buttons
Your phone has three buttons: Home (returns to the home screen), Back (returns to the previous screen or exits an app), and Multitask (shows recent apps).
Screen Lock
Press the Power button to lock the screen. Swipe up from the bottom to unlock. Other screen lock methods are available in Settings.
Notifications and Quick Settings
Swipe down from the top to see notifications. Swipe up from the bottom to access Quick Settings for common toggles and brightness adjustments.
USB Connection
When connected to a computer via USB, you can choose to transfer files, transfer photos (PTP), or charge the device.
