Warranty Information

LG provides a 1-year limited warranty covering parts and labor for defects under normal use.

Cooling Mode: Select COOL mode, then set temperature (62-86°F) and fan speed (High/Low).
Fan Mode: Select FAN mode. Fan speed can be adjusted. Temperature cannot be set.
Timer Mode: Set TIMER ON (1-24 hrs) when OFF, or TIMER OFF (30 min-24 hrs) when ON.
Sleep Mode: Temperature rises 1°C after 2 hours, then another 1°C after 2 more hours. Fan speed is low.
Continuous: Unit runs continuously. High fan speed.
Dry Mode: Select DRY mode. Do not install exhaust hose. Drain water manually or via hose. Fan speed is low. Temperature setting is invalid. Displays ambient temperature.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Causes Solutions
Air conditioner will not start • Plug not fully inserted. • Ensure plug is fully inserted into a live, properly grounded outlet.
• House fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped. • Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker. Check for other appliances on the same circuit.
• Power failure. • If power failure occurs, turn OFF. Wait 3 minutes after power is restored before restarting.
• Integrated circuit breaker in plug tripped. • Press RESET button on plug. If it won't engage, unplug and contact technician.
• 'FL' appears in display. • Water collection tank is full. Drain tank and reset settings.
Air conditioner does not cool properly • Room temperature is less than set temperature. • This is normal. Unit auto-shuts off. Adjust temperature if needed.
• Airflow is restricted. • Ensure clearance around unit and that air inlet/outlet are not blocked.
• Air filter is dirty. • Clean air filter every two weeks (see Care and Cleaning).
• Room too hot or not enough time for cooling. • Allow sufficient time for cooling after turning on.
• Cold air is escaping. • Check for open registers, returns, windows, or doors.
• Cooling coils have iced up. • In hot/humid weather, set to High Fan or High Cool and a warmer temperature.
Air conditioner runs too often or too long • Area to be cooled is too large. • Consult dealer for correct capacity.
• Doors or windows are open. • Ensure doors and windows are closed.
