Problem Solution
Nothing is displayed on the screen. Check power cord connection, computer power, and input settings. Ensure the monitor is not in sleep mode. Verify signal cable connection. Check for 'Out of Range' message and adjust PC output frequency.
Screen display is unstable and shaky. / Images displayed on the monitor leave shadow trails. Select the appropriate resolution. Avoid interlaced resolutions like 1080i. Ensure graphics card is set to the recommended resolution. Check for spots on the screen (normal).
Some features are disabled. Disable 'OSD Lock' in the [General] settings.
No sound from the headset port. Ensure proper headset port connection. Increase volume. Set PC audio output to the monitor.
"Unrecognised monitor, Plug and Play (VESA DDC) monitor found" message. Install the display driver from LG's website. Verify graphics card supports Plug and Play.
