Loading: Load dishes properly to ensure optimal cleaning and drying. Place larger items on the lower rack and smaller items on the upper rack. Ensure spray arms are not blocked.
Detergent and Rinse Aid: Add the correct amount of detergent and ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled for better drying results.
Maintenance: Regularly clean filters and spray arms for optimal performance. Refer to the manual for specific cleaning instructions.

| OE (Drain Error) | Check if the drain hose is kinked, blocked, or frozen. Ensure the garbage disposal knockout plug is removed (if applicable). Clean the drain filter and air gap/disposal. |
| BE (Excess Suds) | Use only automatic dishwasher detergents. Do not use liquid dish soap. If suds occur, pour milk into the tub and run an automatic cycle. |
| AE (Dishwasher not level) | Ensure the dishwasher is properly leveled using the adjustable feet. |
| FE (Water leak) | Turn off the water supply and contact LG customer service. The unit may emit an alert tone and run the drain pump intermittently. |
| HE (Over-supply of water) | Contact LG customer service. The dishwasher may emit an alert tone and run the drain pump intermittently. If power is interrupted, it will resume until the error is resolved. |

| Dishwasher makes a sound when touched while running. | This is normal. To disable touch tones, press and hold Half Load for three seconds. End-of-cycle alarms will remain active. |
| Wash cycle interrupted. | Door was opened during the cycle. Press Start within 4 minutes or the cycle will be canceled. |
| Leak at the front of the appliance. | Dishwasher may not be installed level. Check leveling instructions in the Installation section. Excessive suds from improper detergent can also cause leaks. |
| P1, P2, P3, or P4 displayed. | Downloaded cycle is selected. This is not an error code. |

| Upper rack not level. | Adjust the upper rack. |
| Continuous beep when door is open. | Safety feature. Close the door until cooled. Beep will stop when door is closed or interior cools. |
