LG offers a 2-year limited warranty covering parts and labor for defects in materials or workmanship.

Operating the Cooktop

  1. Power On/Off: Touch the POWER ON/OFF pad for 2 seconds to turn the cooktop on. The indicator light will illuminate. To turn off, touch the POWER ON/OFF pad again.
  2. Selecting Cooking Zone: After turning on the cooktop, select a Cooking Zone ON pad within 15 seconds.
  3. Setting Power Level: Once a Cooking Zone is selected, choose a power level from 1 to 9 within 10 seconds using the element power settings.
  4. Warm Setting: For selected cooking zones (except Warming Zone), touch the WARM pad after activating the zone to set it to the lowest setting.
  5. Warming Zone: Touch the WARMING ZONE ON pad and set the desired power level to keep food warm.
  6. Bridge Cooking Zones (LSCE365ST only): Touch the BRIDGE pad to combine three left cooking zones for larger pans.
  7. Triple Cooking Zones (LSCE365ST only): Activate the inner, dual, or triple element by touching the ON pad multiple times.
  8. Dual Cooking Zones: Activate the inner or dual element by touching the ON pad.
  9. Child Lock: Touch and hold the CHILD LOCK pad for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate. The cooktop must be OFF to set.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Troubleshooting
Cooktop does not operate. Cooktop controls are locked. See HOW TO USE CHILD LOCK to deactivate the CHILD LOCK feature.
Circuit breaker tripped or fuse blown. Reset the circuit breaker.
Power outage. Check household lights to confirm power outage.
Installation wiring is incomplete. Contact the installer or dealer.
Cooktop does not heat. Incorrect cooking zone selected. Ensure the correct control is activated for the zone being used.
No power to the cooktop. Refer to "Cooktop does not operate" above.
Elements turn off during cooking. Internal temperature of the cooktop is too high. Ensure the cooktop has been installed according to installation instructions.
Elements do not heat sufficiently. Touch controls may be misconfigured. Verify the power level.
Cookware is not the correct shape or size, or not flat. Use recommended cookware. Refer to pages 8-9.
Fan sound is heard. Internal temperature of the cooktop is elevated. This is normal. The cooling fan operates when any element is on and may continue to run after controls are turned off until the cooktop cools down.
