1. Connect the Network Storage Link:

  • Connect the included Ethernet cable to the Network Storage Link's Ethernet port and to your switch.
  • Connect USB storage devices: a USB flash memory device to Disk 2, or a USB hard disk drive to either Disk 1 or Disk 2.
  • Connect the power adapter.
  • Press the power button. The device will run a self-test and then boot up. LEDs will indicate status.

2. Set up the Network Storage Link:

  • Insert the Setup Wizard CD-ROM into your PC.
  • Run the Setup Utility and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • Select the Network Storage Link and confirm settings.
  • You will be prompted for the administrator password (default is 'admin').
  • Configure IP settings (DHCP or manual) and Date/Time settings.
  • Review and save the settings.
  • The installation will be complete upon successful configuration.

3. Installing the Flash Disk Utility (Optional):

  • If using a flash disk, install the utility from the CD-ROM by running the setup program and following the prompts.

4. Configuring the Network Storage Link (Advanced):

  • Access the web utility at http://192.168.1.77.
  • Navigate through the Home, Administration, and System screens to configure various settings such as LAN, system preferences, user management, shares, and disk maintenance.
