Reset all network devices: turn off computers/devices, unplug Router power, unplug modem power for 2 minutes, reconnect modem, wait 2 minutes, reconnect Router, power on devices.
The modem does not have an Ethernet port. The Router requires a cable/DSL modem and high-speed Internet. It does not support traditional dial-up modems.
You cannot use the DSL service to connect manually to the Internet. The Router automatically connects to your ISP after installation.
The DSL telephone line does not fit into the Router's Internet port. The Router does not replace your modem. Connect the telephone line to the DSL modem. Then, insert the setup CD and follow instructions. To prevent username/password prompts, go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Never dial a connection.
The Router does not have a coaxial port for the cable connection. The Router does not replace your modem. Connect the cable to the cable modem. Then, insert the setup CD and follow instructions.
The computer cannot connect wirelessly to the network. Ensure the wireless network name (SSID) is the same on the computer and Router. If wireless security is enabled, verify the same security method and key are used. Modify router settings via Cisco Connect or Advanced Settings.
