Linksys warrants hardware against defects for one year for new products and 90 days for refurbished products.
The Linksys Wireless Manager is used to configure the Adapter. It allows you to search for available wireless networks, establish or terminate a connection, and save network settings. To connect to a wireless network, access the Wireless Manager, select the network, and follow the on-screen prompts, including entering a security key if required. For hidden networks, you will need to manually enter the SSID. Wi-Fi Protected Setup offers a quicker connection method. The adapter features a Link LED that flashes during wireless network activity.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Your computer does not recognize the Adapter. | Make sure that the Adapter is properly inserted into the USB slot. |
| The Adapter does not work properly. | Remove the Adapter, and then reinsert it into the computer's USB slot. |
| Your computer cannot communicate with the other computers linked via Ethernet in the Infrastructure configuration. |
