Magellan warrants the product against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase.
Powering On/Off: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds. Press the Power button to toggle the LCD screen.
Event Recording: Manually start an event recording by pressing the Event button.
LED Indicators: System indicator glows green when charging, flashing green/amber during recording. Parking indicator flashes red during parking recording.
Switching Screens (MiVue 280D): Press to switch between front and rear camera views in PIP mode.
Setting Date/Time: Access Settings > System > Date/Time. Choose Use GPS time or Manual for setup.
Recording Modes: Continuous recording starts automatically. Event recording is triggered by G-sensor or manually. Parking recording can be enabled and configured.
Camera Mode: Press to enter Camera mode to take photos (function not available with rear camera connected).
Playback Mode: Press to access File Playback. Select desired file type (Video, Event, Parking, Photo) and navigate to play, pause, or delete files.

| Device is frozen or unresponsive | Press and hold the Power button to shut down. If it persists, insert a straightened paperclip into the Shutdown button. Then press the Power button to turn it on. |
| GPS signal not available | Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky. Signal may be affected by buildings, tunnels, or dense obstacles. |
| SD card not recognized | Ensure the card is properly inserted and formatted. Try a different Class 10 SD card. |
| Video quality is poor | Clean the camera lens. Ensure proper mounting and lens angle. Adjust EV settings if necessary. |
| Device not powering on | Check the power connection. Ensure the car charger is properly connected to the power outlet. |
