Warranty Information
Magellan warrants its GPS receivers and hardware accessories against defects for one year from the date of purchase.
- Power Key: Turns the recorder on/off, and switches the LCD screen on/off.
- Function Keys: Four keys at the bottom of the LCD screen control various functions like accessing settings, enabling parking mode, taking photos, and starting event recordings.
- Inserting Memory Card: Insert a MicroSD card (Class 10, 8GB-32GB) into the slot. Ensure it's formatted before first use.
- Vehicle Mounting: Mount the recorder securely using the provided mount, ensuring it doesn't obstruct the driver's view or airbags. Connect the car charger and route cables neatly.
- Connecting Devices: Connect to a computer via Mini-USB for data access or to an HD display via HD OUT for better viewing.
- Settings: Access the Settings Menu to configure date/time, parking mode, recording settings, GPS stamp, G-sensor sensitivity, and more.
- Recording Modes: Continuous recording starts automatically when the car charger is connected. Event recording is triggered by impact. Parking mode records when the car is parked and movement is detected.
- Playback: Use MiVue Manager software on a computer to view recorded videos and photos, with playback controls for skipping files, adjusting speed, muting volume, and pausing.
Troubleshooting and error codes
