Router Operation Summary
1. Set the tool base on the workpiece without the bit touching it. Turn the tool on and wait for full speed. Lower the tool and move forward smoothly, keeping the base flush.
2. For edge cutting, keep the workpiece surface to the left of the bit's feed direction.
3. Before cutting, test on scrap wood to check appearance and dimensions.
4. Use the straight guide for straight cuts by inserting guide bars and adjusting distance. Tighten wing bolts. Keep the guide flush with the workpiece.
5. If the distance is too wide for the straight guide, clamp a straight board to the workpiece and use it as a guide.
