Operation

• Switch positions: I (On), O (Off), Auto-On/Off.
• To pick up liquids, remove the filter bag. Ensure the float functions properly. Stop immediately if foam develops or liquid emerges, and empty the tank.
• To clean the filter element, switch on the vacuum, cover the nozzle/hose opening with your palm, and press the filter cleaning button three times for two seconds each. If suction power remains low, replace the filter.
• The blower function can be used to clean hard-to-reach places or dry wet surfaces. Do not direct air uncontrollably into rooms, use a clean hose, and avoid using in closed rooms.
• To connect electrical appliances, switch off both the vacuum cleaner and the appliance to be connected before plugging into the appliance socket.
• Maintenance, cleaning, and repair should only be performed as described in the manual. Always unplug the vacuum cleaner before cleaning. Never spray water on the upper section of the vacuum cleaner. Use only genuine Makita spare parts.
