Installation Guide for MV21

The Cisco Meraki MV21 is a networked camera that integrates with the Meraki dashboard and uses cloud-augmented edge storage. This eliminates the need for complex servers and video recorders. The MV21 features a 100BASE-TX Ethernet port supporting 802.3af PoE. Installation involves configuring the network in the Meraki dashboard, preparing the mounting location (wall or T-rail), connecting the PoE cable, and physically mounting the camera. Post-installation, the camera automatically updates firmware and can be configured remotely via the dashboard, including focus and other settings. The camera offers physical adjustments for tilt, twist, and rotation, with some adjustments also available in software.
