Warranty Information
Refer to the Miele dealer or Service Department for warranty information and fault rectification.
- Switching On/Off: Use the master dial on the control panel. Turn clockwise to switch on, anti-clockwise to switch off.
- Temperature Setting: Use the respective temperature dials for the refrigerator and freezer sections. Turn clockwise from '0' to set desired temperature, indicated by LEDs.
- Alarm System: Always active. Sounds if the freezer temperature rises too high. Can be switched off early if desired.
- Super Freeze: Switch on before freezing fresh food for rapid freezing. Indicator light shows it is active. Switches off automatically or can be manually deactivated.
- Dynamic Cooling: Circulates air evenly for consistent chilling. Useful for large quantities of food or high ambient temperatures. Switches on and off via a dedicated button.
- Using the Refrigerator Efficiently: Utilize different storage zones (warmest at top, coldest at bottom). Store food covered, allow hot food to cool, and do not over-fill.
- Defrosting: Automatic defrosting for the refrigerator section. Manual defrosting for the freezer section when ice builds up.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| The frozen food is thawing because the freezer section is too warm. | Is the room temperature lower than the ambient temperature for which the appliance is designed? | If so, raise the temperature of the room. Operating in a room which is too cold will cause the cooling system to switch off for too long causing the freezer section to become too warm. |

| There is a thick layer of ice in the freezer section. | - | Check whether the freezer section door closes properly. Defrost and then clean the freezer section. Too thick a layer of ice reduces efficiency and increases energy consumption. |
| The alarm sounds and the alarm indicator light flashes. | The temperature in the freezer section is too warm, because a large amount of food has been frozen at once without switching on the Super freeze function. | The alarm will stop and the indicator light will go out when the temperature has reached the correct level again. If the alarm and indicator light do not go out, please call the Service Department. |

Switch off at the wall and withdraw the plug from the socket, or disconnect the mains fuse or remove the screw-out fuse in countries where this is applicable. Press the sides of the lamp cover together, disengage the cover and unclip it at the back. Unscrew the lamp and replace it with a new one. Lamp specification: 220 - 240 V, max. 25 W, E 14 fitting. Screw the new lamp into the connection. Ensure it goes in correctly and make sure that seal makes a tight fit. Replace the cover by clipping it in at the rear and then pressing it in at the sides. |
