Contact your Miele Chartered Agent or Miele for warranty service. Unauthorized work invalidates warranty.

Using the oven:

  1. Place food in the oven.
  2. Set the function selector.
  3. Set the temperature with the temperature selector.
  4. Remove food when ready.
  5. Turn function and temperature selectors back to "0".

The cooling fan continues to run after switch-off to dispel moisture.

Pre-heating:

Usually not necessary, but recommended for foods cooking under 20 mins, puff pastries, yeast mixtures, and roasting beef/fillet. Use "Rapid Heat-up" function. Do not use for pizzas or biscuits.

Programming cooking durations:

  1. Place food and set function/temperature.
  2. Enter duration (up to 10 hours) using +/- buttons while symbol flashes.
  3. Oven switches off automatically at the end.

To check/change/delete duration: Use the relevant symbol button.

Troubleshooting and error codes

ProblemPossible cause and remedy
The oven does not heat up.- Check function and temperature selectors.
- Check mains fuse. If ok, contact electrician or Miele.
The heating works but not the oven lighting.- Disconnect power.
- Unscrew lamp cover and seal.
- Change lamp (230V, 25W, E14, heat resistant to 300°C).
- Screw cover and seal back on.
A noise can be heard after a cooking process.This is the cooling fan running on to prevent humidity. It switches off automatically when the oven cools down.
Cakes and biscuits are not cooked properly after following the times given in the chart.- Check temperature setting.
- Check recipe for changes (e.g., more liquid/eggs may need longer cooking).
Browning is uneven.With Fan Plus: Check temperature and shelf level.
With Conventional: Check baking tin material/colour and shelf level.
There are spots like rust on the catalytic surfaces.Residues from spices deposited during roasting. Remove with mild detergent and water while fresh.
"0.00" is flashing in the display.Pre-set times lost due to power cut. Reset time and buzzer tone.
