  • Control Panel: Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display for operating the dryer.
  • Laundry Care: Check care symbols on garments and follow drying tips for optimal results.
  • Proper Drying: Prepare laundry by sorting, loosen garments, check for foreign objects, and load loosely. Select the appropriate program and dryness level. Start the program and allow it to complete, including the cooldown phase. Remove laundry promptly.
  • Options/Delay: Utilize options like Gentle, Buzzer, and Delay to customize drying cycles.
  • Cleaning and Care: Regularly clean the door lint filter, port-hole grilles, and the dryer's exterior.

Troubleshooting and error codes

What to do, if . . . ? Possible cause Remedy
The dryer does not start. The appliance is not switched on. Switch the dryer on.
The program has not been started. Press the Start/Stop button.
The door is not closed correctly. Close the door.
Delay is activated. Cancel or wait for the delay time to expire.
The electronic lock is activated. Deactivate the electronic lock.
The fuse has tripped/a power failure. Check the fuse/wait for power to be restored.
The drying cycle is too long or not completing. The load is too large. Reduce the load.
The lint filter is blocked. Clean the lint filter.
The vent ducting is blocked or kinked. Check and clear the vent ducting.
The selected dryness level is too low. Select a higher dryness level or a longer timed program.
The room temperature is too low (below +2°C). Ensure an adequate room temperature.
The laundry is still damp at the end of the program. See "The drying cycle is too long or not completing".
The laundry is creased. The load is too large. Reduce the load.
The laundry was not removed promptly at the end of the program. Use the Anti-crease function.
Delicate fabrics have been over-dried. Select a lower dryness level or a gentler program.
The dryer is noisy. Foreign objects in the drum. Remove foreign objects.
The dryer is not level. Level the dryer.
The Filter/Vent indicator light is on. The lint filter is blocked. Clean the lint filter.
The vent ducting is blocked or kinked. Check and clear the vent ducting.
There is a fault message in the display. See "Test and fault messages" section. Follow the instructions in the relevant section.
