Washing environmentally and economically
To maximize efficiency, load the machine to its maximum capacity for the selected wash programme. Programmes with longer running times often use less energy and water while still providing excellent results. For small, lightly soiled loads, use the Express 20 programme. Modern detergents allow effective washing at lower temperatures (e.g., 20°C), saving energy.
Information about subsequent tumble drying
Higher spin speeds reduce residual moisture, saving energy in tumble drying. Select the highest possible spin speed for your wash programme.
Hygiene in the washing machine
Washing at low temperatures or with liquid detergents can lead to bacteria and odours. Miele recommends cleaning the machine monthly. The 'i' indicator light with '1' on the time display signals when cleaning is required.
Detergent
Use automatic detergent dispensing for precise dosage. Adjust the amount based on the laundry's soiling. Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended amounts.
Troubleshooting and error codes
