Brief instructions

  1. Sort laundry by colour and fabric type.
  2. Switch on the washing machine.
  3. Open the drum door.
  4. Load the drum loosely.
  5. Close the drum door.
  6. Select a programme using the programme selector.
  7. Select a spin speed using the spin button.
  8. Select any additional options required.
  9. Add detergent.
  10. Press the Start button.

At the end of a programme:

  1. Open the drum door.
  2. Remove the laundry.
  3. Switch off the washing machine.
  4. Turn the programme selector to the Finish position.
  5. Close the drum door.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible cause Solution
The programme does not start. Machine is not switched on. Switch on the machine.
Door is not closed properly. Close the door.
Programme selector not set. Set the programme selector.
Delay start activated. Cancel delay start.
Water supply is switched off. Open the stopcock.
The wash programme stops and a fault indicator light comes on. Water supply fault. Check water supply.
Drainage fault. Check drainage.
Door lock fault. Contact Customer Service.
A fault indicator light comes on but the wash programme continues as normal. Excess detergent. Use less detergent.
Check drain filter. Clean the drain filter.
Check water inlet filter. Clean the water inlet filter.
General problems or an unsatisfactory wash result Incorrect programme selection. Select the correct programme.
Too much or too little detergent. Use the correct amount of detergent.
Overloading or underloading the machine. Load the machine correctly.
Water hardness. Use a water softener if necessary.
The drum door does not open when you press the Door button. Programme has not finished. Wait until the programme has finished.
