Operating the Washing Machine
Control Panel: Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display:
- Start/Stop: To begin or cancel a programme.
- Temperature: Select wash temperature.
- Spin Speed: Adjust spin speed.
- Delay Start: Set a delayed start time.
- Option Buttons: Add extra features to programmes.
- Programme Selector: Choose your wash cycle.
- Button: Power on/off.
Sensors: Use V and Λ sensors to navigate menus and adjust values. OK confirms selections.
Display: Shows programme, time of day, duration, temperature, and spin speed.
TwinDos: Automatic detergent dispensing. Ensure correct cartridges/containers are used and settings are specified.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |

| The programme does not start | Door not closed properly | Close the door firmly. |
| Start/Stop button not pressed | Press the Start/Stop button. | |
| Delay start activated | Cancel Delay start or wait until the set time has elapsed. | |
| Water tap turned off | Open the water tap. | |
| The following fault messages appear in the display and the programme stops | Check water inlet | Turn on the water tap and check the water supply. |
| Check water drain | Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages. Clean the filter. | |
| Door lock error | Switch off the machine and switch it on again. If the fault persists, contact Miele Service. | |
| The following fault messages appear in the display at the end of the programme | Check detergent dosage | Adjust detergent dosage. If using TwinDos, check that the containers are filled correctly. |
| Rinse aid needed | Refill rinse aid compartment. | |
| Low water pressure | Check water supply and pressure. | |
| Problems with TwinDos | No detergent dispensed | Check if TwinDos cartridges/containers are correctly inserted and filled. Check TwinDos settings. |
| Incorrect detergent type selected | Ensure the correct detergent type is selected in the settings. | |
| General problems with the washing machine | Machine is noisy | Ensure the machine is level. Check that transit bars have been removed. Check load is evenly distributed. |
| Excessive vibration | Check transit bars have been removed. Ensure the machine is level. | |
| An unsatisfactory wash result | Incorrect programme selected | Select an appropriate programme. |
| Overloading the machine | Reduce the load size. | |
| Incorrect detergent dosage | Adjust detergent dosage. | |
| The door will not open | Programme still running or in anti-crease phase | Wait for the programme to finish or the anti-crease phase to end. |
| Water in the drum | Drain the machine. | |
| Opening the door in the event of a blocked drain outlet and/or power failure | Refer to manual section on emergency door release. | Follow specific instructions for manual door opening. |
