Getting Started:

  • Mount the dash cam securely in your vehicle.
  • Insert a memory card (sold separately) and format it.
  • Connect to power and turn on the device.
  • Set the date and time, preferably using GPS time.

Recording Modes:

  • Driving Mode: Continuous and Event recording. Event recording is automatically triggered by the G-sensor.
  • Parking Mode: Records events when the vehicle is parked. Requires an additional power source (e.g., Mio Smart Box).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dash cam does not turn on. The power cable is not connected correctly. Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the dash cam and the cigarette lighter.
No recording is being saved. The memory card is full or not inserted correctly. Format the memory card or insert a new one. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.
Videos are blurry or unclear. The camera lens is dirty or the windscreen is tinted. Clean the camera lens. If the windscreen is tinted, reposition the dash cam to a clear area.
GPS signal is weak or unavailable. The device is in a tunnel or building, or there is bad weather. Move to an area with a clear view of the sky. Signal reception can be affected by obstacles and weather.
Dash cam is unresponsive. Software glitch or frozen system. Perform a hardware reset by pressing and holding the power button. If necessary, use a pin to press the shutdown button.
