Basic Operation

The LCD monitor power indicator will turn green while powered on or red in off mode. The monitor can be powered on or off using the following three options:

  1. Pressing the Main Power Switch. Ensure the main power switch is ON before using the power button or remote control.
  2. Pressing the power button. The main power switch must be ON.
  3. Using the remote control. The main power switch must be ON.

Power Indicator Status:

  • Power ON: Green
  • Power OFF: Red
  • Power Standby ("SCHEDULE" enabled): Red On
  • Power Standby: Green Blinking
  • Diagnosis (Detecting failure): Red Blinking

Troubleshooting and error codes

SymptomPossible Cause and Solution
No picture
  • Signal cable not fully connected.
  • Display card not seated properly.
  • Power switches are OFF.
  • Unsupported mode selected.
  • Compatibility issues.
  • Bent or pushed-in pins on signal cable connector.
Power Button does not respond
  • Unplug the monitor from AC outlet, wait, then plug back in.
Image persistence
  • Avoid displaying static images for long periods. Turn off monitor for the duration the image was displayed to alleviate.
  • Use "POWER SAVE", "SCREEN SAVER", "DATE & TIME", and "SCHEDULE" functions.
Image is unstable, unfocused or swimming is apparent
  • Signal cable not fully attached.
  • Adjust OSD Image Adjust controls.
  • Check compatibility and signal timings.
  • Change video mode to non-interlace with 60Hz refresh rate if text is garbled.
Image of component signal is greenish
  • Check if DVD/HD input is selected.
LED on monitor is not lit (no green or red color can be seen)
  • Power Switch ON and power cord connected.
  • Computer not in power-saving mode.
RED LED on monitor is blinking
  • Contact authorized MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC service facility.
Display image is not sized properly
  • Use OSD Image Adjust controls for coarse adjustment.
  • Check for supported mode and compatible settings.
Selected resolution is not displayed properly
  • Use OSD Display Mode to check Information menu and select appropriate resolution.
No Sound
  • Check speaker cable connection.
  • Check if mute is activated.
  • Check volume level.
Remote Control is not available
  • Check remote control batteries status and insertion.
  • Ensure remote is pointing at the monitor's remote sensor.
“SCHEDULE”/“OFF TIMER” function is not working properly
  • "SCHEDULE" is disabled if "OFF TIMER" is set.
  • "OFF TIMER" resets if power is interrupted.
  • Stripes may appear depending on display pattern; not a fault.
