Turning the power switch ON/OFF:

  • ON: Power lamp, heater lamp (if applicable), and blue illumination lamps turn on after 1.5 seconds. Initial settings are performed, including sensor sensitivity. The dryer is ready for operation after initial settings.
  • OFF: Power lamp and blue illumination lamps turn off, and operation stops. The circuitry takes about 50 seconds to discharge retained voltage. Maintenance should only be performed after this discharge time.

Hand detection and operation:

  • Infrared sensors (upper, middle, lower) detect hands.
  • When hands are detected by lower or middle sensors, the blower motor turns on.
  • Operation continues as long as hands are detected.
  • If no hands are detected for 1.5 to 3 seconds, the motor turns off.
  • The dryer operates for a maximum of 30 seconds per cycle.

Heater control (Applicable models):

  • Heater turns ON with the blower motor.
  • Heater does not turn ON if the heater switch is OFF or if the circuit thermostat temperature is 32°C or higher.

Blue illumination lamps ON/OFF:

  • While power is ON and the motor is stopping, switching the air speed switch six times within 5 seconds turns the lamps OFF. The process is reversible to turn them ON.
