When the power is turned ON, the power lamp, heater lamp (if applicable), and blue indicators turn on after 1.5 seconds, signaling readiness for operation. The dryer will not operate before this initial sequence. Ensure no hands are in the drying area during this phase for correct sensor sensitivity setup.
If the power is turned OFF, the power lamp and blue indicators turn off, and operation stops. The circuitry requires approximately 40 seconds to discharge retained voltage before maintenance can be performed.
Infrared sensors (light emitting and receiving) detect the presence of hands. The dryer starts when the lower or middle sensors detect hands. Operation continues as long as hands are detected, for a maximum of 30 seconds. If no hands are detected for 1.5 to 3 seconds, the motor stops. Re-inserting hands after the 30-second limit will resume operation.
The heater turns ON simultaneously with the blower motor. It will not turn ON if the heater switch is OFF or if the ambient temperature detected by the thermostat is 32°C or higher.
| Error Mode Display | Checkpoint | Check Method and Remedy |

| (Lamps do not light.) | Power supply voltage | Check that approx. 220 to 240 V AC is supplied at both ends of the power cord connections on the terminal block. If 220 to 240 V AC is not supplied, check the following points. ① Check that the earth leakage breaker is turned ON. ② Check that the power cord is connected securely to the terminal block. |
| Power supply voltage on the power circuit board (JT-30P8H) | Check that approx. 220 to 240 V AC is supplied between TAB1 and TAB2 (orange) on the power circuit board (JT-30P8H). •If 220 to 240 V AC is not supplied, check the following points.
