Sr600 In-Car Video Camera Setup and Installation

1. Inbox Content:

Identify all included components: Sr600 camera, windshield mount, cables, and mounting screws.

2. Configuration:

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power/Record button for 30 seconds until the camera vibrates and the blue LED blinks.
  • QR Code Scan: Generate a QR code from CommandCentral Vault and scan it with the camera within five minutes. Adjust display brightness and distance for optimal scanning. A successful scan results in a vibration and orange blink.
  • Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure the camera is in Wi-Fi range. Upon successful QR scan, the LED will blink green and vibrate.
  • Setup Completion: The camera connects to CommandCentral Admin. After completion, the camera will power cycle and be ready for use. The LED will be green (Wi-Fi connected) or blue (Wi-Fi not connected).

3. Connector Interface:

Familiarize yourself with the camera and base connector interfaces, including the 16-PIN Automotive Connector and 6-PIN Interface Connector.

4. Installation:

  • Mount Preparation: Prepare the RAM® Adhesive Mount by adhering the adhesive disc to the mount.
  • Camera & Mount Assembly: Assemble the camera, screw collar, windshield mount base, and RAM® Mount.
  • Placement: Clean the windshield and select a location that allows a clear line of sight. Mount the assembly, ensuring the lens is not blocked by the rearview mirror.
  • Securing: Once positioned, mark the location, then peel and adhere the mount to the windshield. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to cure before use.

5. Wiring Diagram:

Match the cable label numbers to the Vault I/O numbers for proper configuration.

6. Final Installation:

Connect the cable to the camera base, tighten the screw collar, and insert the camera. Ensure proper alignment and lens horizontality. Secure the camera with the latch screw.
