Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Solution
Photo looks blurry Wipe the lens clean with a soft, dry cloth and retake the photo. Increase resolution, avoid zooming, or switch to regular mode if indoors.
Can't delete photo Check SD card. Use Files app or remove card and use a computer to delete.
Error: Camera Busy Restart phone, check app permissions, clear cache and data.
Error: Trash is full Open Gallery app, navigate to Trash, and empty it.
Messages app stopped Check permissions, force stop, uninstall updates, clear cache, reset phone.
Keyboard not working Check for updates, restart phone, clear cache.
Problems with Facebook, WhatsApp, other apps Check for updates, use Help in app, restart phone, clear cache.
Gmail issues Read Google's troubleshooting information.
Play Store issues Read Google's troubleshooting information.
Update Android software Check version in Settings > About phone > Android version. Install updates manually via Settings > System updates > Check for updates.
Reset Wi-Fi, cellular data, and Bluetooth Go to Settings > System > Reset options, then tap Reset Mobile Network Settings or Reset Bluetooth & Wi-Fi.
Reset app preferences Go to Settings > System > Reset options, then tap Reset app preferences.
Reset phone Go to Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset).
Reset phone if you can't open Settings Perform an external reset using volume and power buttons to navigate Recovery mode.
