The Motorola Power Injector (pt # AP-PSBIAS-1P2-AFR) is an 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet hub. It combines low-voltage DC with Ethernet data in a single cable to connect to an Access Point (AP). This eliminates the need for separate Ethernet and power cables, allowing APs to be placed in locations without local power. The device supports standard 10/100BaseT Ethernet networks. It has input and output RJ-45 connectors for data and power. The injector receives power via a 110-220 VAC input and provides a nominal output voltage of 48VDC. It features protections against underload, overload, short-circuit, and voltage fluctuations.
