Troubleshooting and error codes

IssuePossible CauseSolution
Switch does not power on. Power cord is not properly connected. Ensure the power cord is securely connected to the switch and the power outlet.
Cannot access the CLI. Console cable is not connected properly or terminal settings are incorrect. Verify console cable connections. Ensure terminal settings (e.g., baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits) match the switch's default settings.
No network connectivity. Incorrect IP address or subnet mask configured. Verify IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway configuration. Check cable connections and link status.
PoE devices are not receiving power. PoE budget exceeded or port is not configured for PoE. Check the total power consumption of connected PoE devices against the switch's PoE budget. Ensure the specific port is enabled for PoE.
