Warranty Information

Motorola branded product warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years for products and 90 days for accessories.

Making Calls: Use the corded handset, speakerphone, or a wired headset. You can pre-dial numbers, dial from the directory, or use redial.

Answering Calls: Answer using the handset, speakerphone, or headset.

Call Management: Features include Hold, Mute, Flash, Transfer, Conference Calls (3-way and 4-way), and Do Not Disturb.

Intercom: Make intercom calls to other extensions.

Caller ID: View incoming call information and save numbers to the directory.

Directory & Memory: Store frequently used numbers in the directory or one-touch memory.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Solution
REPLACE BATTERY shows in the display The 5 AAA batteries need replacing or are improperly installed or not installed at all.
No dial tone Check installation steps. Ensure power cord is connected, line cords are undamaged and connected, hook switch functions, and no power issues. Test with another phone.
Dial tone is ok, but can't dial out Make sure the phone is set to the correct dial mode.
Phone does not ring Ensure ringer is On, DND is deactivated. Check for too many extensions or registration issues.
You cannot be heard by the other party Ensure Mute feature is off and handset/headset cord is properly inserted.
Incoming voice too low or none at all Check call volume settings.
Static, noise, or fading Ensure base station is not plugged into an outlet with other appliances. Relocate base if necessary.
One-touch Memory / Directory dialing doesn't work Verify memory programming and phone number format.
No Caller ID Subscribe to Caller ID service from your local telephone company.
No Display Ensure base unit is connected to a working outlet. Disconnect and reconnect power adaptor.
Date/Time setting is restored to default May be caused by power failure. Reset Date/Time.
Intercom does not function correctly Ensure extension phones are registered and within range of the Main/Wired base.
OUT OF RANGE on Extension/Wireless phone Move phone closer to base, check base power, avoid interference sources.
