The Outdoor Unit (ODU) must be properly grounded to protect against lightning. In the USA and Canada, it is the user's responsibility to install the equipment in accordance with Section 810 of the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA No.70-1984 or Section 54 of the Canadian Electrical Code. Other regulations may apply in different countries.
Always power down and unplug the equipment before servicing.
Strong radio frequency (RF) fields will be present close to the antenna when the transmitter is on. Always mute the transmitter before undertaking maintenance activities in front of the antenna.
Install the PTP 600 ODUs so as to provide and maintain the minimum separation distances from all persons.
