About your hardware

Familiarize yourself with your phone's components, including the tray for SIM and SD cards, front and main cameras, headset jack, earpiece/speaker, proximity sensor, volume buttons, and power button with fingerprint sensor. Learn about charging, data transfer, and wired headphone usage via the USB-C port, and the speaker.

Protect your phone

Find cases and accessories at motorola.com. Clean your phone with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding abrasive materials. Disinfect with 70% isopropyl alcohol, ensuring no moisture enters openings. Do not submerge in cleaning agents or use bleach/abrasives.

Prevent water damage

Your phone is water and splash resistant but not waterproof. Avoid pressurized water, saltwater, or other liquids. Do not intentionally submerge. Resistance is not permanent. Liquid damage is not covered by warranty. To prevent damage: avoid pressurized/salt water, dry thoroughly, don't charge when wet, and avoid dropping or puncturing.

Insert or remove SIM and SD cards

Supports microSD cards up to 128 GB. Use the SIM tool to eject the tray. Insert or replace SIM and SD cards as needed. Update media app settings to use the SD card for storage. Two SIM card support may vary by model.

Manage dual SIMs

When two SIMs are inserted, a status icon appears. Both SIMs support calls and texts. Only the owner can access dual SIM settings. You can temporarily turn a SIM off in Settings. Specify SIM usage for data, calls, and texts. Customize SIM names and colors for easy differentiation.

Set up voicemail

Contact your carrier for password help. Set your mailbox greeting by touching >. Touch & hold to dial your mailbox. Follow carrier prompts for setup. Change voicemail options in Settings under Voicemail, including service and setup number.

Make it yours

Customize your phone's look and sound: set wallpaper, add apps, adjust screen settings (font, rotation, dark background), change navigation mode. Assign ringtones or photos to contacts. Use Do Not Disturb for quiet periods. Protect your phone with a screen lock and fingerprint security. Set up Find My Device and record your IMEI. Connect Bluetooth devices and Wi-Fi networks.
