Motorola branded product is warranted for 12 months for products and 90 days for accessories.
Making Calls: Press the TALK/END CALL button to make a call, then dial the number. To answer an incoming call, press TALK/END CALL when the phone rings. To end a call, press TALK/END CALL or place the handset on the base/charger.
Speakerphone: During a call, press the HANDS-FREE button to switch to speakerphone mode. Press again to return to the earpiece.
Phonebook: Access the phonebook to store and retrieve contacts. You can store up to 50 names and numbers.
Caller ID: View a list of incoming calls. You can dial numbers directly from the call list.
Intercom: Make internal calls between registered handsets.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Problem | Possible Solution |

| No dial tone | Ensure the telephone line cord is supplied, connected properly, and the mains power is connected and switched on. |
| No display | Check batteries are correctly inserted and fully charged. Ensure handset is switched on. Reset the base by removing power and telephone line for 15 seconds. |
| Y icon flashes | Handset is out of range; move closer to the base. Ensure handset is registered and mains power is connected. |
| Keypad does not seem to work | Check that the keypad lock is not on. |
| icon is not scrolling during charge | Adjust handset on base. Clean charging contacts. Ensure mains power is connected. Battery is full when icon is steady. |
| No Caller ID | Check subscription with network operator. Caller may have withheld number. Check phonebook for correct entry. |
| Cannot register a handset to the base | Ensure batteries are fully charged. Ensure base is within range and not obstructed. Check PIN code is correct. De-register an existing handset if 5 are already registered. |
| Handset does not ring | Check handset ringer volume is not set to Off. |
| Base unit does not ring | Check base ringer volume is not set to Off. |
| Noise interference | Place C4 at least one metre away from electrical appliances or metal obstructions. |
