Motorola branded product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months.
Location: Place the base near an AC power outlet and telephone jack, at least 1 meter from other electrical appliances. Ensure good signal strength.
Connecting the Base: Plug the telephone line cord into the base and wall jack. Plug the AC power adapter into the base and outlet.
Installing and Charging Handset: Insert rechargeable batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Charge for at least 16 hours. A full charge is indicated by a steady battery icon.
Making Calls: Press the call key and dial the number, or use pre-dial and then press the call key. Fast call keys (M1, M2, M3) can also be used.
Answering Calls: Press the call key when the phone rings. Press again for hands-free.
Adjusting Volume: Use +/- or the scroll keys during a call.
Contacts: Store up to 150 names and numbers. Access via the Contacts menu.

| Cannot access messages remotely | Remote access may be switched off, or wrong PIN entered. |
| Answering machine stops automatically | Memory may be full, or message length limit reached. |
